HOL Guard is a Developer Tools business based in Marshall Islands, founded by Michael Kantor. It joined the Founderhood directory in October 2026.
About
HOL Guard is an open-source (Apache-2.0) permission layer between AI coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI) and your machine. Before an agent runs a shell command, reads a secrets file, calls an MCP tool or installs a package, Guard checks your local policy and allows, blocks or asks you. Install: pipx install hol-guard && hol-guard init. Optional paid Guard Cloud for teams. Not a gateway or network firewall.
